She has an effect on men.
Andrea was shocked that Drew told her he was becoming telepathic with her. He had seemed like such a nice man. Why would anyone say something like that? What did he want from her?
Her past had left her devastated, shamed, and full of thoughts and memories she would share with no one. To hear such a fantastic statement from a co-worker – someone who she worked closely with, was too much. She had trusted him!
Her family had been part of the problem and treated her harshly, she had only her brother to confide in. Even he did not know everything.
Swearing she would never become emotionally entangled with anyone again, Andrea decided to become complete and whole unto herself. Anything she needed or wanted was going to be from her own resources. Personal relationships were in the moment, hers to choose – or not.
Professionally, things were going well. Something was missing, though, and she began searching in earnest. Andrea’s therapists listened to her adventures, her doctor gave her medicine to cope with the growing anxiety.
At work, it was Tyler who spotted how bad it really was. He started to check in on her, bringing gifts of coffee and treats to entice her into conversation. Without knowing it, Andrea had found a person to be close to; someone who filled an emptiness she said she didn’t have. The fact that Tyler was married made it easier for her to pretend she didn’t need him.
Andrea and Tyler fell into a romantic relationship. When he was injured while helping her with yard work, she knew he had changed. Tyler muttered he had seen a man walk out of a tree and refused to go to the hospital.
Drew once told her about spirits who live in nature. He sounded sincere when he said it, not teasing. Maybe what Tyler saw was one of these? In desperation, she called the only friend who she knew might be able to help her help Tyler.
She experiences her own unusual event – a dream she can’t quite remember.
What is happening to her well-planned life? Can the past-life connections Tyler and Drew discover be true? Why is she so drawn to Drew and his wife Carol?
The answers unfold and more discoveries await in Nexus.
